Best 10 iPads Review

1.Apple 10.9″ iPad Air Wi-Fi 64GB – Starlight

Featured Comment

I think it’s a great device for a great price. The iPad Air 5th Generation is very powerful and really benefits from Verizon’s amazing 4G LTE coverage. Most of the time I have had 5G nationwide coverage, but it’s often times the similar or worse than the 4G LTE. I assume it’s because it’s new technology and has some quirks. Every once in awhile the 5G nationwide gives me about 100mbps compared to 4G LTE at like 80mbps, but like I said the 5G has quirks like random dips in download and upload speeds. Serious dips under 1mbps. The 4G LTE is more consistent and saves battery so I almost always keep 5G off. I’m sure that if you have 5G UW coverage then it’s worth it to keep it on but I don’t have that here yet. Anyways, the tablet itself is unbeatable in value and quality. It’s just as powerful as the iPad Pro and it has everything you’ll need. It’s not worth $300-$400 extra for 120hz and AR sensors. There’s also probably going to be an upgrade to the pro this fall so you’ll be current for longer with the iPad Air. The only thing that holds the iPad back is iPad OS. It’s restrictive and missing a lot of features that would benefit it greatly. This is just because of Apple making their iPhones and iPads impossible to fully utilize with software restrictions. It sucks because jailbreaks are rare nowadays with current Apple devices. This shouldn’t be a huge problem if you also have a PC for the things that Apple restricts on iPad. Overall the iPad is great and I recommend it, but don’t expect it to be able to perform like your PC. The sad thing is that it’s powerful enough to run like a PC but it’s restricted by Apple. Regardless it’s great for what it does and you can’t beat it as far as cellular tablets goes. Definitely get the 256GB. It’s perfect.

I use a iPad at work, and also on my off time. 64 GB of storage is plenty for me, although truly hardcore users might want more than this. Props to them, but for most this is more than enough. Apps and games, at least the basic ones, really don’t take up too much space. The iPad is my favorite tablet, as it reminds me of my iPhone. Same interface and intuitive functions. The colors are vibrant. It’s unreal how the graphics measure up. Whether playing a game, or watching a video this is fantastic. Also I like the processor speed too. No buffering when connected to a excellent Wi-Fi, and the battery life is impeccable. It charges fast, and if you don’t use it, weeks of battery. Obviously with apps and games going, I’m finding 12 to 16 hours of use. I’m sure there are newer ones that might go further, but this should be fine. This is one durable computer device. Yes as the picture shows, I fully recommend the otter box or other protective device. With this there have been some drops, but not one crack or any signs of the OS going nuts. If you have kids, this is wonderful, as the cloud also can help. Monitoring their usage is a cinch. Definitely a family friendly tablet. The interface works well for typing also.

3.Apple iPad Mini WiFi 256GB 8.3 Silver

I just got my 64GB Space Gray from Walmart for $459 and I have to say I freaking love this little tablet! I am actually downgrading from the 11″ iPad Pro to the Mini as I now have a 16″ MBP, w/ it’s gigantic screen, and really just use my tablet for reading the news and watching YouTube in the recliner or in bed (for which a smaller/lighter tablet is far more comfortable). Here is my take away so far: 1. The jelly scroll is a thing (particularly if you go looking for it) but only while scrolling in portrait mode. It makes blocks of text lag behind a little bit giving paragraphs a slightly angular look while scrolling. It’s not as smooth and pretty as the 120Hz scrolling on the iPad Pro, but given that I am not actively reading text while scrolling pages up/down, and that thankfully I happen to read 95% of my content in landscape mode, I can let it slide given all the other benefits of the small form factor. Definitely worth a look in store if you have any level of OCD about this though lol. Here’s a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJQiu6TTx94 2. I am now waiting on a replacement order for the 256GB model and will be exchanging because, try as I may to slim down the bloat to “the essentials”, 64GB is not going to get it done for me lol. I work at sea and will use the iPad for watching saved YouTube/Disney /NetFlix episodes and Apple Music (as we do not have internet when any from land on my ship). I could not even get my existing load out of music and apps to fit comfortably before trying to download any video content. 128GB for entry level model would be ideal (Like my iPhone 13 Pro) and Apple knows that… So gonna cough up the extra $150 after all for what I’m sure will be “too much space” haha. Oh well, can’t upgrade it later I suppose. 3. The new Mini is plenty powerful, has a beautiful and bright screen for a Non-Pro model, lightweight in the hands, semi-pocketable, supports Apple Pencil 2 wonderfully and seems to provide similar battery life to the full size iPad models and comparatively good quality and loud enough stereo audio as well (Still better than iPhone 13 Pro). Also, the CenterStage FaceTime camera provides excellent HD video quality and automatic tracking like the iPad Pro which is even better than using your iPhone. The 3:2 aspect ratio of the new Mini (as opposed to 4:3 from last ten and most other iPad lines) makes for a wider display which means narrower black bars top and bottom on 16:9 content. So basically, even though this screen is technically ~3″, or 25%, smaller than the iPad Air/Pro 11 it certainly does not feel that much smaller. A very clever space optimization very akin to what Apple did shoving the System menu up and out of the way into the notch bar on the new 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros. Aside from my first 2 nitpicks above, overall I am quite pleased with the Mini and, though it surely is not the best bang for your buck (Regular iPad has got to be the best value for many and iPad Air

Shipping was fast as promised although delayed which was due to a snowstorm and not the merchandiser. Item was severely chipped on the back but was expected with a refurbished item. However, I just gave this to my sister yesterday as a gift and it’s not letting her set it up as it says “ Too many iCloud accounts set up in last year”. This is my first time having her power it on and try anything. Why sell something un-usable ?

Love it , super fast . I have no problems with it since I bought this, I stream a lot of movies with it and it’s great , no lagging. Love the apps and I still have plenty of storage with no issues. Like the size not to small and not to big, just right. I can also get a lot of work done with this iPad , check email, even work out with the great apps. I highly recommend it, and it’s so easy to use and to setup with all ur Apple account info , transfer was a breeze, sounds great and looks great !!

After years of talking about getting an Ipad, my prince charming bought me an ipad for christmas – what a surprise! I normally draw using an actually drawing pad for my desktop, but now I can draw anywhere! I’m not going to lie, i use this mostly to draw. Being an self-taught artist, I love being able to draw on the go and this really helps me do just that. The ipad is extremely lightweight with beautiful visuals. I can do everything I need on it, including blogging and drawing! I also love to browse the web and just the fact that the screen is a really great size, my eyes don’t strain at all. I can’t deny, apple has amazing products and this one is one of them! It runs really well though and the battery can last about 24 hours if not being used and maybe 6 hrs if being used. For any artists out there, I really recommend this ipad!
