Pros: Package arrived fast. Asus Zenbook 13 UX 325 has very nice packaging. – It has nice and elegant design.- It is very light (1 kg) and thin. It fits nicely to my bag. – Very good laptop for traveling. – If I compare Zenbook with my previous Acer aspire S7, it has really great battery life (10 hours). – Screen has beautiful colours (OLED). Nice to watch videos, movies and adding photos.- I love system Ergolift, it helps lift up rear of laptop and cooling laptop much effectively. Cooling is quiet. This system is new for me.- I like keyboard keys are stiffer than my previous laptop keyboard keys. It is more comfortable for writing; it makes my work in Word easier.- I like dual touchpad with LED illuminated number pad.- New is face log in for me and I like it too. It is fast and easy than using password.I like this laptop and I can recommend Asus Zenbook 13 to people who travel very often and need light weight, thin laptop, with long battery life. Who also work on documents, using apps to adding photos, blogs, videos, internet.Lenka Cons: – arrived without case. – missing 3,5 mm jack for earphones. Adapter is included. It is not big issue for me. I use earphones very rare.- I prefer to have 1 USB C – thunderbolt 3 port instead 2 and have 2 USB A ports instead 1 only to connect external disk and printer at the same time. I need to use adapter. It is not big issue; it is about preference.

Pros: Before I start, I just want to point out I have only used this for about 2 weeks as I had actually bought it for someone else.DesignThis is incredibly light (lighter than my 13″ laptop in fact) and yet it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. The overall design aesthetic is nice and industrial, without looking boring.Keyboard/TrackpadThe keyboard is spacious, quiet and nice to type on. The trackpad is equally spacious, with accurate tracking and a quiet, satisfying click action.PerformanceDay to day performance is excellent, with very fast startups (and almost instant shutdowns), near-instant app launches (even on larger apps such as Photoshop) and impressive performance in games. DisplayThe screen is easily the headline feature. The brightness is definitely above average (although not even close to what you would find on something like a Macbook) and the QHD resolution keeps things sharp despite the increase in screen size. However, the colors are what stand out most to me – it is hard to put into words, but everything looks so much more vibrant without looking oversaturated.SoftwareAs you’d expect, Windows 11 runs like a dream on this kind of hardware without any kind of hiccups. Even the dreaded windows updates barely take any time. MiscellaneousThe sound when you close the lid is very satisfying. It is very easy to open, without being floppy. Battery life is great for a Windows laptop (seems to last about 8 hours), although not on the level of a Macbook or Chromebook. The speakers are surprisingly good, and you can actually get some bass out of them with the right EQ settings. Cons: DesignI would prefer the plastic bezels around the screen to be replaced with the continuous glass variants found on most laptops these days, however, it is not a huge issue considering how thin the bezels are.Keyboard/TrackpadThe keyboard backlighting is quite harsh in comparison to my other laptops and is also non-adjustable. In dark environments it is ideal, but it can be overpowering in other situations. Somehow, LG has even managed to put bloatware onto the keyboard, with the function row being dedicated to opening their various preinstalled apps (none of which I found a use for).PerformanceThermal performance could be better, as they have definitely tried to keep this thing light and quiet instead of being a top performer.DisplayNo complaints hereSoftwareLG has loaded this thing up with some of the most obnoxious bloatware I have seen, and most of it is useless. For example, one such app is a utility to sync your phone to your PC, despite the fact there is an identical feature baked into Windows already. The same story goes for pretty much all of it, and even after resetting Windows it all comes back. One thing that irked me most was during the setup process. LG had bolted in the terms and conditions for some of their bloatware onto the same page as the terms and conditions for Windows. This means you couldn’t accept the Windows T&Cs without simultaneously consenting to all of LG’s random software. MiscellaneousThe webcam is predictably terrible. There is no facial recognition. There is no full-size SD card reader, which seems especially dumb considering most people buying this will probably want to import photos and footage from their camera using an SD card. The USB-C ports are only found on one side of the laptop, meaning it can only be charged from one side unlike some of the other laptops I have used.

I bought this laptop from Lenovo.com in the summer of 2020 to use for school. It has a good keyboard, and the fingerprint reader and face sign-in are great features for a portable laptop. However, I had a number of serious issues with the laptop. First, with i5 and 4K UHD screen, the laptop routinely ran out of charge in just 2 hours of use web browsing and editing documents at low brightness. This is unacceptable for a laptop marketed with up to 19.5 hours of battery life. It also ran uncomfortably hot even under light loads, but that is to be expected for an ultralight device. After just 1 year of regular use (just outside of warranty) with good care and cleaning, the screen failed. As the photos show it displays randomly colored vertical stripes, flickers strongly, and some portions of the screen even turn off entirely. It now freezes within seconds of turning on and is completely unusable. I cannot stress enough: DON’T BUY THE LAPTOP, especially not with the 4k screen.

I have owned this device for about 3 weeks, and it is a phenomenal device. My last Lenovo product was an E531, which lasted me 10 years and is still running, so I knew I wanted another Lenovo product. This has not disappointed. The lightweight design is a huge plus for anyone traveling and using this computer on the go. I have used both 15″ and 13″ screens, and I think the 14″ is a great compromise between the two, as you get some extra screen, but the computer does weigh as much or take up the majority of your backpack. Battery seems solid, and I appreciate being able to have the selective charge feature that allows for you to only charge to 80% in order to reduce battery deterioration for people that are plugged in most of the time. People have complained about the fan noise on the gen 10, but for this gen 9 it is very quiet 99% of the time, and only ramps up during peak load when rendering a video or backing up your computer. The chassis does get rather hot, but if you don’t have it in your lap, that isn’t something to be concerned about. The ports they kept on this device feel perfect. Enough USB A ports to get by, but also 2 USB C for the heavy data transfers and docking stations. Speakers are super loud, best I’ve ever seen on a computer. I love my music, and when on the run they are great for video calls. Speaking of video, the camera is sub-par and rather disappointing. Probably the only hardware part they really cheaped out on 720p really gets grainy in low light. Will want an external camera if you do more than just the occasional meeting online. Privacy shutter is nice though. Overall, this is a solid device! Sadly, MS has a glitch on their updates, and I had to reinstall Window 11 a few days ago in order to get a Win10 era update to go onto my device. Not a Lenovo problem hardware problem at all, but do be aware that you may have to do some update work simply because MS hasn’t fixed their update system properly in Win11. This is a pricey computer, but I would say that the durability and quality of the product pays for itself in a very short time.

I’m partly to blame, but I think the “2-in-1” included in the product description is misleading. A Google search told me that “2-in-1” denotes the ability to be used a tablet, thus requiring a touchscreen. However, this is a NON-TOUCHSCREEN so I had to return mine, but at least the return process was quick and painless…..so far. Note tell ALL laptop sellers; PLEASE tell us upfront “TOUCHSCREEN” or “NON-TOUCHSCREEN”.
