I really don’t know enough about cameras to know what really is good or bad…but this camera is solid for the work I have done. Most of it has been in motion and at long distances and it works well on “Running Man” and also with a longer lens. Some of the different features include a flip out screen, auto focus with the trigger button, and pop up flash on auto and manual. I would recommend this for anyone that needed pics of family or does work professionally; depending on your needs and accessories.

We own a Canon T5 rebel we bought about 4 years ago from HSN and we truly find it to be a fantastic camera! You can take 1080i/p pictures and videos as well. You can select the format to capture in including RAW data. I purchased a 256gb micro sd card but with the camera, you must use the included adapter to insert the storage card. This T6 is such a fantastic offer because you not only get the 18-55mm lens but the 75-300mm as well! Have you seen the price of camera lens alone? This complete ensemble is so worth the price currently $399.00 reduced $20 and we got FREE shipping when we ordered ours. ( Mind you that was as of 10/18, prices may be different when you order yours ) These cameras have fantastic built in microphones as well that give you excellent audio playback but just 1 built in mic with no external port for a mic.The T6i has built in twin mic’s that record in stereo and an external mic port and is WiFi & GPS capable. QVC gives you a 16gb SD data card but you definitely purchase at least a 256gb card that can keep up with the speed of these cameras; especially if you are doing multiple frames of stills or video. With our T5i I was able to record 59 minutes of HD recording ( that is the maximum time limit ) 3x before I had to switch to another of my rechargeable batteries. You get 1 only in this kit. First off, I’ve been using Nikon cameras for almost 30 years. So please consider that if you are looking for a more “comparative” review. The nearest competitor I use is the Sony A6000, a completely different ballgame. That said, it means I’ve been through the FM, FM2, F2, F3, F100, D50, AND D200, and currently use the 3500 as well as a D7500. The 3500 is wonderfully lightweight and compact Dslr, with outstanding image quality, compact format factor, exceptionally good lenses (10-20, 18-55, 70-300; all af-p’s and a 35/1.8 and 85/1.8 af-s), and incredibly good battery life. I don’t hesitate to use it on jobs. There is not a single complaint I can levy against this camera. I only shoot stills and don’t “chimp” (I’m a film guy), and it never has let me down. I’m in manual mode 100% of the time, restrict auto ISO to 6400 and bang away. I’ve never had a camera stand out of my way so willingly and get such repeatable results. I use a few non-ai lenses so I love the absence of the ai tab on other, more expensive Nikons, so huge bonus there. All of the above can be echoed for the D7500, and use both regularly. Highly recommended.

As the headline for the review says this is a VERY specialized camera at this point in time. Its frame rate is low, (if you pixel peep) motion blur can be a bit of an issue, it doesn’t have the connectivity of recent cameras, you can’t use the shiny new RF mount lenses, its pictures are large in size (duh). But none of that actually matters, because its not what this camera is for. This camera excels at 1 thing: taking incredibly detailed sharp images of mostly static objects. And it remains one of if not the best cameras on the market for that, especially now that the price has dropped so significantly. If you are a landscape/real estate/city photographer, the level of detail this camera will provide (with good technique) is nothing short of astonishing. I had the chance to rent the camera over the summer and when it came back in stock I immediately bought it. I’ll start with the disadvantages, since that will be shorter: Disadvantages: 1) Low frame rate (though I have used it for sports, you do have to be a bit lucky to get keepers. Not actually as bad as you might think though) 2) Large files: while memory cards are now quite cheap, this is more from a processing perspective. Editing these photos will take a lot out of your computer 3) Not an RF mount camera: Canon is pretty clearly putting their lens development focus on the RF mount, so the lens that currently exist are all you’ll get. Fortunately, there are already tons of amazing EF lenses out there, and a lot of people will be selling theirs (and mortgaging their house) to buy new RF lenses 4) Not the best high ISO performance Pretty much any other criticism of the camera will come from trying to use the camera as something its not designed to do, like video (shudders) Now onto the good: 1) The detail: Yes 50.6 MP is a lot and boy does this camera deliver in this department. Provided you have steady hands the level of detail this camera will render is, quite frankly, absurd. I feel like I should count this for several points because this is THE THING this camera does. 2) The ergonomics: It’s a comfort thing, if you like how Canon DLSRs feel this is like an old friend. 3) The build quality: I remain determined NOT to test this, but I have no qualms about tossing it in a backpack or even skiing with it. The weather sealing seems high quality too, brought to you by lack of a popup flash. In 2021, if you are looking at buying this camera as an upgrade and you primarily work with static subject, this is still a fantastic option. Remember that the shiny new cameras don’t make this one any worse, and this has always been a great camera 

5.Nikon D7500 DSLR Camera 1581

my camera needs are relatively simple…I’ve used a D3300 since 2006. I decided to add this D7500 now to my small kit since I prefer OVF over EVF and DSLR’s are obviously headed to the scrap heap of photo history. I understand the Nikon menus and don’t really want or need to learn a new system. and I just don’t see that, for me, mirrorless (Nikon or otherwise) would add that much to what I do now. I think that this camera is extremely underrated and performs exceptionally well for what it is. smallish in size, good fit in my hands, great sensor. this camera will now give me 14-bit raw compared to the D3300’s 12-bit raw and easier button access to some functions. and the tilting screen is killer!…I am so enjoying it. I’ll move the kit lens over to the D3300 and mount the Nikon 35/1.8 dx lens to this camera. (because that’s all I need.) Nikon refers to the D7500 as an enthusiasts camera and that’s exactly what it is…but I think that it’s an exceptionally fine enthusiasts camera.

First off, the camera is the camera. Solid camera and I would give it 5 stars for its price point. It’s the accessories that bring this down for me. I think it’s important to consider that most places have this same camera and 1 lens for the same price as this entire kit ($480), so the accessories were practically free. Even so, I think it’s important to know what you’re getting. Each accessory is cheap. I could not imagine paying more than a few dollars for each thing, bag included. But, if this is your first DSLR camera or you have a student that is taking photography for the first time, this is a good buy that is enough to help learn about extra accessories, how they function and interact with the camera, and the potential of what DSLRs have to offer. Regardless, if I’m going to spend the 480, I may as well get the freebies. Final Thoughts/TLDR: 5 stars as a whole kit for any beginner 5 stars for the camera on its own 4 stars for the kit as an upgrade and, I would never personally buy ANY of these accessories had they not come with the kit.

Compared to what I would have paid on Amazon and at Best Buy, I got a great deal. This is a gray camera, (not made in the USA), but fully functional and works the same. The only difference is you have to switch it from PAL to NTSC which is easily done in the camera. That is the ONLY difference I can find. Most bundles ran btw $695-$750. I got mine on eBay for $650 out the door. This little Cam is lightweight and compatible with most EF lens even though its an APS-C Cam. You get the normal kit lens with it but the Cam shoots great.

Had been undecided between D750 and D810 for a while. After reading lots of reviews and weighing my personal preference on image quality, colour fidelity and it’s native ISO of 64 for high contrast landscape shooting. D810 was my final pick and it does meet my expectation with stunning image contrast I have not been able to capture in my previous D5100 and the current D7100. I am not a pro but often being amazed by the stunningly beautiful images printed in BBC Natural History Series Books of my collection. I know D810 is not the camera for those gorgeous BBC wildlife shootings but really wanted to get a pro camera for great images. D850 is very attractive but costs more than twice what I could get a used set of D810. I’d been too used to scene modes and most of the time using only Auto mode in my cropped sensors and I did not pick up much of the photography skills until D810 came on board since it’s a pro-grade camera and I am now forced to make settings, adjust exposures, apertures, ISO and so on which I find it a fun to do so and the best thing is I can get the exposure and colour I like from settings. Happy with D810’s capability of sharpness, the colour accuracy, and the beautiful bokeh on fast bright lenses! The attached are taken with Nikkor 24-120mm F4 VR and Sigma 85mm F1.4 EX DG.

I’ve owned this camera for about a week, and so far it’s great. I’m only a photography hobbyist, and this is great for my current capabilities and understanding of photography. I’ve used it on a couple of photo walks with folks around my neighborhood, and it’s very light/portable. It’s the perfect size to put in one of those Patagonia Atom sling bags to keep at the ready. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. I’ve kept it in manual mode the whole time I’ve had it, and being able to change the ISO on the fly is a completely new concept for me, as I’ve only shot film until owning this camera. Being able to change the ISO, the shutter speed, and the aperture all with the same dial is a very handy feature. Before I figured out how to do that, I was changing all those settings on the touch-screen like a scrub. The screen is great, and it’s very easy to move into different positions. The screen even automatically turns off when you bring the camera up to your face so you don’t accidentally change any settings with your nose. The menus are also very straightforward. The camera ships with Japanese as the default language, but in spite of that, I was able to find my way to the ‘change default language’ and switch it to english. The lens it ships with is great too. It’s good for shooting up-close subjects, but you’ll need something bigger for subjects further away. Overall, it’s a good amateur-level camera. I haven’t truly put it through its paces yet, but I’m looking forward to it.
